A case of rhabdomyosarocma of the nasal cavity and maxillary sinus

Abstract

|
Rhabdomyosarcoma is vary rare, highly malignant, tumor originated from striated muscle, and classified as pleomorphic, botryoid, alveolar or embryonal type. Also, this tumor is rapidly growing and reveals high incidence of recurrence. Author has experienced a case of rhabdomyosarcoma of alveolar type in 25 years old male involving the left nasal cavity and maxillary sinus.This patient was treated by surgery in combination with chemotherapy and irradiation. This paper was attempted to report the case with a brief review of references.
